Lleyton saying bye bye and blowing kisses.
It was all Daddy's idea. A day and half before Labor day weekend, Daddy texted Momma about the idea of going to Rhode Island. Gulp, as in flying to Rhode Island! Thanks Honey for the advanced notice! Somehow we did it!! Thanks to lots of new little toys and extra leg room, Lleyton did wonderful. First flight, check!
We flew into Boston and the next day we drove out to Newport, RI. Daddy planned a day for him (the museum), a day for Mommy (shopping), and a day for baby (the zoo). Not too bad with little time that we had to plan.
Your namesake :).
Lleyton's second time to the zoo. This time, bigger and better!
So much fun in the daytime for our little Mister, he was usually passed out by the time we drove back. Most nights, we had take out dinner by "bath light"....lol. Good times!
Braised short ribs...hmmmm
Chef's catch of the day
Grilled swordfish and lobster risotto
One morning on our way to breakfast, Lleyton feel asleep in his car seat. Lol, we ended up eating in the car in the parking lot. Honey we are getting good at this ;).
Also had some delish french toast croissants.
Made sure I found a good seafood place :).
Picnic style lunch one afternoon in Rhode Island. Mark's pick so of course it was meat and potatoes ;).
There was more playing than eating on this day!
Getting ready to board the plane to go home. Thanks Auntie Janine for my aviator romper:).
Bubba checking to see if we are on time. As it turns out our outgoing flight was delayed :(. Lots of time to chase Lleyton around the airport! By the time we boaded, he was so tired he slept the whole way home. Way to go, Lleyton! Thanks for a peaceful flight :).
