A Day in the Pool @ Nana's

A small snack before your first time in the pool.  I already knew that you were going to have a blast.  You really love water (even drinking too!).



So much fun!  Thank you Nana and Papa for having me over.   Thank you Ed for bringing along Maddie and Peyton!  Can't wait until next time (hehe... I left my floatie back on purpose ;)).

A bedtime routine

Daddy usually takes you for your night time swing.  On this day, Momma said the dishes can wait :).

Daddy & Lleyton Time

Almost every night, Mark takes Lleyton out for a buggy ride for a bit so Mama can have an hour to do anything :).   Daddy mixes it up from a stroll to the market, to sneaking into the church behind us to play with their swing set, to visiting Mary our neighbor, or dancing at the park on Monday night music on the greens.   Somedays it's just rolling around and saying hi to strangers and woof, woof to dogs :). 

11 Months!

You are so smart.  Mama tried to change shirts with the "11" on it already to try to trick you but you still knew it was on there and took it off!

You have discovered the fun of cars and love to "zoom, zoom" them around.  You are such a boy!



Not quite walking yet but that's okay.  It is hard enough to keep up with you as it is!

This is exactly how Mama feels.  Sigh, in just one month you will be a toddler and celebrating your very first birthday party!  For now, you are still our baby for another month and we are going to enjoy every second of it!   Happy 11 Month Birthday Lleyton!!!!

p.s. I forgot to say what's new!  Two biggies, one is Lleyton finally got his first tooth!  Mama is kinda silly and is neurotic about cleaning his quarter of a toothie :).  After three "phone interviews", I finally decided on which Pediatric dentist to take you to.  I told all three that you have mamelons on your baby tooth which is normal in adult teeth but pretty rare for baby teeth.  The other biggie is night sleeping is so much better now!  You are mostly doing 7 hours straight.   Some nights you do wake up once but otherwise, it's been a huge change.   As for eating, you love table food and anything we eat is suddenly the best thing.  If we give you brocolli in the high chair, you turn your nose up.   However, if we eat brocolli, you suddenly want it!  You love to snack on watermelon and apple chunks and love drinking ice cold water.   Games you play includes rolling a ball back and forth and "pretend" eating with your plastic fork and bowl.   You can also clearly say, hat and ball.   How about "Mama"?  We'll have to work on that!



First Haircut

Very first haircut @ Nana's.  Knowing Lleyton's big personality, I had a feeling it would be eventful.  Lots of bribery and distractions and amazingly, some hair was cut :).

Whew, it's over! Now we just have to wait for nap time to "touch up" ;).



Thank you Nana (& Papa) for giving me my very first haircut!  One more milestone tucked away.
