Counting With The Count

15 Months!

We like to play a little game called "Extractions" ;).

We also play normal games like "doctor" too ;).

But you think it's more fun to play let's pull teeth!

Oh Lleyton.  Stop it already!  Momma says sloooooooooooow down with the growing up!  Every month that I sit here and write these posts, I am reminded that things are going way too fast.  You are just a sponge these days and soaking in all kinds of things.   Here are some new stats...

- At your 15th month visit, you weighed in at 22 lbs (although they did not ask Momma to take off your clothes or shoes and had you stand on an adult scale).  You probably are 21.5 lbs or so?  This puts you about 5-10th %.
- You are 31 inches tall (25-50%) and have a 47cm head circumference (also 25-50%)
- You have an amazing memory!  If Momma is in the living room and ask you to get me a certain book in the nursery you will run and get it.  You understand quite a bit of what I ask you.
- You can recognize and say some alphabet letters and numbers.  We always sing the alphabet on our way to Nana's.
- Your favorite tv show, hands down is Max & Ruby.  You also love Barney, Sesame St. and Sid the Science Kid.
- Eating is still a hit/miss.  If you can have fruit and cheese all day you would be happy.  Luckily, at least you like broccoli and chicken so Momma can get in a veggie and protein.   The other two favorite is corn and rice.  You are not big on overly flavored things.  If it's plain you'll tolerate it more.
- Sleeping has gotten soo much better!  We can say now you consistently go to bed at 8pm and wake up usually at 5:30 am.  Naps are not bad but it varies someday between one to two naps (1-2 hrs).
- We have more teeth coming in.  Looks like your upper two teeth are making an appearance!!!!  We are so thrilled!!!!!  We do not like seeing you teeth but more teeth hopefully means you'll eat more for us!
- Your favorite song is the Barney song ... "I love you, you love me...".  Whenever it is on, you always look for Momma to sing and dance with.  Speaking of singing, you know a few words to some songs!
- Momma sings "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." to you and it's true.  You are my sunshine!!!!

Happy 15th Month Lleyton!  We love you more than pigs love mud :).

Happy Halloween

For your second Halloween, we went to the mall to trick or treat.  It was so cold and rainy outside, I guess everyone had the same idea!  Daddy says you are dressed appropriately as a zebra since it was a zoo inside the mall!  We managed to score a bookmark, a smartie, a dum dum, and some stickers!  Afterwards we went to see Mr. & Mrs. Kempe and scored some real candy and spoiled with money too!  Momma thinks you make an adorable zebra!  Happy Halloween to all!
