King of Prussia/Philly

We spent NYE weekend in Philly & King of Prussia. Lots of fun and plenty of history.

We did a little of this...

King of Prussia Mall is said to be the largest mall in the east coast.

We did a lot of this.... but Mark wasn't cooperating with food pics. Boo !

The Winter at Valley Forge

We were recruiting in the first Continental Army.

Valley Forge National Park

The campgrounds of General George Washington & his troops.

Very small & cramped quarters.

Me & my big jacket, aka "sleeping bag". It was C.O.L.D. !!

General Washington's Headquarters

Can you spot Mark ? He was really into the walking tour. I didn't pay too much attention since Mark gave me all the details of the Revolutionary War during half of our drive to Philly.

Love, love, love covered bridges !

Independence Hall

Liberty Bell

There's a crack in the bell, it wasn't ME!

The Betsy Ross House

Mark & I did an audio tour of Betsy Ross' home and found it interesting that she was one of 17 kids!

This was one tiny house. Too bad, no pictures allowed inside.

The Chocolate Factory

The sweetest place on earth!

There is even an amusement park & garden here but it was closed for the winter.

Hmmm... chocolate heaven!
